The programm for the musicians' focal dystonia
was conceived by Alessandro Bares to help musicians suffering from focal dystonia (FD) of the hand to resume playing their instrument at a high level while rediscovering the joy of playing. The focal dystonia program is based on the collaboration between Alessandro Bares and the leading Italian practitioners of the Grinberg Method (www.grinbergmethod.com).
The program includes:
- Grinberg sessions (in your city or with the nearest practitioner), in which the musician improves awareness of their body perception and their automatic response patterns to fear and pain
- instrument lessons (in Rome), aimed at applying the knowledge gained through the Grinberg sessions to the technique of their instrument.
